Achiamah Osei-Tutu, MD FAAD

is a New York- based board certified dermatologist and co-founder of Docs4Hair.  Her practice focuses on providing a comprehensive approach to hair restoration.  


Dr. Osei-Tutu graduated Binghamton University with a B.S. in biology.  She then went on to peruse a degree in public health at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she won the Epidemiology Research Training Scholarship in 2000. 

She subsequently entered medical school at Stony Brook University.  While at Stony Brook, she received a scholarship for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute/ National Institutes of Health (NIH) Research Scholars Program.  After graduating medical school she completed an internship at Mount Sinai Hospital.  She subsequently went on to complete a residency in dermatology at SUNY Downstate, where she was selected chief resident in her final year.  

Dr. Osei-Tutu's initial interest in hair loss stemmed from her quest to successfully manage her sister's alopecia. She continues to be motivated by the many patients who entrust her with their care.
